What is the ID. Buzz?
Expected to go on sale in the U.S. in 2024, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz is a redesigned version of the iconic Volkswagen T1 Bus but with a fully electric rear-mounted motor that makes 201 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque.
It features a 77kWh battery which uses a CCS plug connector and is capable of DC Fast Charging. When charged at a DC Fast Charging station the battery can go from 5 to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Interior
The interior of the ID. Buzz is designed to feel like an open space. The lounge-like interior features three rows of flexible seating with enough room for seven. A few of the standard features that stand out include a 10-inch digital gauge cluster, customizable ambient lighting, and massaging front seats.
Technology and Safety
The infotainment system in the ID. Buzz operates through a touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard. The standard screen size is 10 inches but a 12 inch display is an option.
