You’re driving to meet your best friend for coffee, and it looks like you’re going to be at least ten minutes early – a huge accomplishment for your usually-late self! You pull into the lot of your favorite café, turn off your vehicle, and check your phone – only to find that you’re ten minutes late!
If you’re struggling with keeping track of time, it could be the fault of your vehicle’s clock. Our Volkswagen dealership serving Phoenix is here to tell you exactly how to set your Volkswagen clock, and hopefully stay on time.
Steps To Set Your Volkswagen Clock
Drivers often put off setting their vehicle’s clock for a number of reasons. It could be that they forget, or it could be that they just don’t have the time. Perhaps it was never changed when Daylight Savings Time came around. Whatever the reason may be, when it comes time to actually change your clock, you may not remember how to do it.
Adjusting the clock in your Volkswagen is a fairly simple process. Follow these steps to ensure you get the time right:
- Turn the vehicle on and direct your attention to the instrument cluster in front of you.
- Identify the small buttons in the bottom left and right corners of the cluster.
- Press the menu/clock button in the lower left corner of the cluster. The hour number on the clock will now be highlighted.
- Press the button in the lower right corner of the cluster, labeled “0.0/set”, to advance the hour. Long press the button to quickly cycle through the hours.
- Press the menu/clock button again to highlight the minutes and use the “0.0/set” button to advance the minutes forward.
- Once the time is set, press the menu/clock button again to complete the process.
