Just like our Peoria Volkswagen dealer, Volkswagen wants its drivers to feel safe and secure driving in any situation. There’s a reason Volkswagen continues to supply its vehicles with the latest in vehicle innovation, in order to offer drivers the best on-the-road experience possible. Not only should the drive be comfortable and enjoyable, but Volkswagen owners should feel confident that they can rely on their vehicle to perform well and to be there when they need it. As a result, Volkswagen has added new features to its Volkswagen Car-Net app to ensure this exact expectation in their customers is a constant.
Safety and Confidence With Volkswagen Car-Net in Peoria
Peoria drivers who own a Volkswagen vehicle can expect to feel more protected than ever by the brand. While the Volkswagen Car-Net application already offers safety measures such as remote door lock and unlock, fuel level checks, health diagnostics and maintenance information, location sending from a connected smart device, and speed alerts, it’s now receiving an upgrade of new features that make sure the vehicle is not driven without permission. New features will also be in addition to existing safety features like automatic crash notifications, roadside assistance, and stolen vehicle location assistance.
A host of new measures will be added to the Car-Net app. This includes a curfew alert where owners can set a curfew alert to notify them if their vehicle is driven after a certain time. Another addition is a valet alert, where owners can turn on the valet alert in the Car-Net app to receive an email or SMS text alert (or both) if the car goes more than 0.2 miles from the last parked location. A convenient feature Volkswagen will also be adding is a parking information feature that will help make finding a parking spot easier.
