Shape burger patties, cut veggies, and get everything organized into storage containers that fit in your cooler to make for quick cooking.
Of course, not everyone has the space or wants to haul a grill along. Some easy alternatives that travel well include snack platters, pulled pork in the slow cooker, or subs! As long as everyone gets something to eat and has a cold drink, you can rest easy knowing they’ll enjoy themselves.
Once everyone’s fed, it’s time to focus on fun! Whether it’s ladder ball, cornhole, or another favorite game, just about anything that folds flat is great for sliding into the back of your vehicle. While you’re packing up, double check that your car has a set of jumper cables tucked away. While we suggest having these in the vehicle at all times, they can make you a hometown hero at a tailgate if your neighbor relies a bit too heavily on their car battery while celebrating.
