At Lunde’s Peoria Volkswagen, we’re pleased to announce that Volkstock is back for another year! Taking place from November 10th-12th, 2017 at Lake Pleasant in Peoria, Arizona, Volkstock is a celebration of the Volkswagen brand and the cool vibe of Woodstock! This festive annual event includes live music, a swap meet, camping, food, games, and much more!
Volkstock takes place on several grassy acres, so Peoria VW fans are encouraged to campout for the weekend and bring your furry companions, because this is a dog-friendly event! Dress in your hippest 60s fashion, and don’t forget the football or Frisbee to throw around with the kids.
This family-friendly event offers the opportunity to check out vintage Volkswagen models, win raffle prizes, and check out numerous vendors. If you choose to campout for the weekend, camping will open up beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 10th. RVs are welcome! This year’s event will include six bands, 416 show cars, 22 sponsors, and 36 vendors, so there’s plenty to do!
Combining the Love of Volkswagen With the Cool Vibes of Woodstock
Day one includes games, raffles, a bbq cook off, and live music. Day two includes raffles, the opening of vendors and swap, live music, the car show, and the Volkstock ceremony. Finally on day three, enjoy breakfast and raffles before cleaning up your area and heading out.
Registration for the car show begins on Saturday, November 11th at 8 a.m. After you find a nice spot to park your beloved VW, be sure to wander over to Lunde Tiki Lounge to enjoy breakfast! Registration for the car show ends promptly at 12 p.m. so don’t miss it!
