I moved into your general service area in December, 2012 and have had 2 opportunities to use your facility for service. Yesterday, May 22, 2013 I was returning home and noticed the engine block light come on in my 2009 Volkswagon CC. When I arrived home I used the information book privided when I purchased the automobile and it indicated an engine or exhaust problem and directed me to bring it into a Volkswagon dealership.
At 7:15 AM I called my Service Consultant, Neil Brownlee who had been exceptionally helpful in my first visit to Lunde's Peoria Volkswagon back in December of 2012. I explained the problem to Neil and told him I could be there in 45 minutes. Neil told me to bring it in and he would have a technician take a look at it.
Neil was immediately available when I arrived, checked me in and told me it normally takes between an hour and an hour and a half to determine the problem. Neil came into the service waiting area in less than an hour to tell me the technician, I believe he said the name Craig, had determined the problem and asked me a number of questions regarding the gasoline I was using. After listening to my answers Neil suggested changing the type of fuel I was using. He gave me a typed sheet of paper with a number of different gasolines I might want to consider to eliminate the problem from happening again.
He told me the solution to the problem with my car, the cost to fix it and I gave him my autorization to proceed.
The car was fixed and I was on my way in less that one and a half hours after arriving at the dealership.
As a side note. I keep Neil's business card in my top desk drawer and see it everytime I open the drawer.
Choosing to change my service from my previous dealer to yours was a very wise decision.
